Forest Folk

Note from Tom: From the BB Compendium we added the Nymph to give the team the full Forest Folk effect. Besides would Satyrs play without Nymphs around to impress ... I think not.

On Pitch Spellcaster:
The starting spell for a Forest Folk Spellcaster is Midsummernight Dreams.
Successful Result: The Spellcaster sends forth a peaceful, slumber-inducing melody. Pick any one player on the field within seven squares and roll two dice, adding the scores together. If the roll is greater than or equal to double the opponent's s agility, the target player succumbs to the spell and momentarily drifts off to sleep. Place the victim stunned (Apothecaries may not alter this). If the target player was carrying the ball then it will scatter once from his square.
Failure Result: The Spellcaster falls asleep and is placed Stunned on the pitch. This will NOT result in a turnover.
Range: An opponent within seven squares of the spellcaster.
Succeeds on: 4+

Secret Weapons:
The Forest Folk team and its allies do not use secret weapons.

Stadium rules:
Forest Folk team who own a stadium have their Fan Factor increased by 2 for home matches. This is due to all the fans who are watching from the trees which overhang the Stadium and the faeries flying above the Stadium.
In addition, the Forest Folk team may add a permanent 1 to its Fan Factor if your opponent rolls a 1 (before modification) on the Fan Factor table at the end of the match. Note: This is only for home matches played in the Forest Folk stadium. Ignore this rules if both teams are Forest Folk.

Wizard: Note: the MBBL does not use wizards)
Forest Folk teams can have a Satyr Panpiper for 150,000. At any time once per a game the Satyr may play his pipes. They send out a peaceful, slumber-inducing melody. Pick any one player on the field and roll two dice, adding the scores together. Your opponent rolls one dice. If the Satyr rolls equal to or higher than his opponent then the target player succumbs to the spell and momentarily drifts off to sleep. Place the victim stunned (Apothecaries may not alter this). If the target player was carrying the ball then it will scatter once from his square and the team will suffer a Turnover, otherwise the team may continue with its turn.

The Blood Bowl Compendium shows some great figs for the Centaurs. These were created by taking the Horse base for the old Chaos Centaurs and adding the torsos and heads of a player from the Norsca Rampagers Blood Bowl team.
